LDQ #9 Monday, Monday, Monday!

This episode is a quick description of how I made my Artsy Fartsy Seahorse quilt. I give some references to get you started in this process.

Check out Susan Carlson. Her book is called Serendipity Quilts – Cutting Loose, Fabric Collage.

I said that I’d finished the seahorse quilt yesterday, but it was actually a couple days ago. I’ve lost track of time, lol.

LDQ #8 Wednesday Girl

I’m not late.. I’m just early for next Monday. It’s the usual quilt project updates in this episode, minus the singing and editing. There’s a few ums, and some rambling left in, because I’m too busy to edit this week. It’s raw uncensored crazyiness. I will have a blog post up shortly with pictures and such of the things I talked about. Happy Hump Day!

LDQ #7 String Quilts and Lonesome Valleys

In this episode, I start out with some music created by my son and me. He is 14 years old, and is playing acoustic guitar while I sing. Later,  I talk a lot about string quilting, the methods I use, and my current projects using strings. I talk about my UFOs and my quilting goals for the coming year. I added a couple bloopers to the end, just for grins. Giggles and snorts are provided by my daughter in addition to me and my son. Thanks for listening!
