LDQ #10 Go to Sleep, Little Baby

There will be singing! I love this song. Hope you enjoy. There’s also a brief interview with my niece, Gabi.. and she sings too! While she was here visiting, we picked out fabrics for her a new tote bag.. It’s the same polka dot fabric I used for the borders on Sunbleached.

I _think_ some of the fabric I used in my cottage house row is called Butterscotch and Roses.. if not, it looks a lot like it. I’ve mixed other prints in with them, but I’ve no idea what lines those came from.

Here’s the first 3 blocks, I totally forgot to snap a pic of the finished row, all sewn together. And now I won’t see it again until December! DUH!

I have an intro and then several installments of “Quilt Logs” from the previous week.

Check the other BLOG for pics of Sunbleached once I have gotten the binding done.

Thanks for listening!

  1. I just wanted to tell you how much I enjoy your podcast and your blog. I absolutely love the backs of your quilts and am so thrilled with the embroidery touches you add. I cross stitched one label only to be met with disgust an disapproval by the local quilter police (fantastic mentors but somewhat judgmental). Your creativity has given me permission to go against the local grain and follow your lead. Keep up the fantastic work. Love it!
